The digital brain concept

Why I am doing this

In my pursuit for a better way to learn and retain information, I have been researching the concept of the digital brain.

This is a concept that came to me on a blog post and I have been curious about it for a while, in my daily life I have several topics that I love to read and study, but that makes the ability to retain new things difficult. Over the time, I realized that a method that allows me to retain information is writing it down in a notebook in the simplest way possible (usually I imagine that I explain it to my kid or nephew).

After a while I realized that my info was scattered in different places, and I was not able to find it easily or at all, destroying the concept completely, out of this I decided to look a simple tool and method that would allow me to find my info and organize it.

How I am going to do it

Since I'm developer and I love to store my info in markdown files, I decided to look for a tool that offers the possibly to see them on some kind of UI that allow me to edit and organize them. Luckily, I found a tool called obsidian that is a great tool to organize ideas and build a digital brain and created a git repository to store them on the cloud that can be found here.

What can you expect from this project

Here I will store all the information that I will absorb from my daily life without too much effort and or filters, that mean that not everything that you might found here might be 100% accurate, but I will try to keep it as simple as possible. This way of work will enforce my capture habit that I have been doing for a long time in a non-organized way, hopefully I will find a way to organize in order to find and start a working idea without too much effort.
